OUR ACTIVITIES
Print & Design
We have two artworkers offering a full design and print service to compliment our digital print and design suite. With two Konica Minolta printers complete with booklet-making finishing gear, we print business stationery, monthly periodicals, magazines, posters and calendars.
Project Work
Our project work is led by our service users’ interests and we take a team work approach to deliver them. It’s a truly unique highlight of our services. Recent projects have included the construction of a mobility-adapted traditional gypsy caravan as well as a cardboard tube log cabin.
Music
Our music group meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. Working as a group singing and playing along to popular requests.
Sound & Light
Come and learn sound production and recording in our fully digital, sound conditioned studio. We are equipped with:
- iMac running both Pro-Tools and Logic Pro.
- A MIDI linked keyboard
- Fully programmable DMX lighting system
- Electric drum kit
- A variety of instruments
ARTS & CRAFTS
Themed Arts & Crafts projects which relate to seasons and current world affairs
These classes are lead by our resident artist Lucie Richardson
SEWING & SET DESIGN
We have a dedicated area for sewing and set design. Our attendees have produced a variety of colourful quilts, bunting, bags and cushions.
Drama & Movement
Having completed the Three Peaks Challenge we have built Phoenix Theatre. Fully kitted out with DMX lighting and a sound system operated from an iPad.
This exciting new area is a versatile space that hosts our Drama group on a Thursday and can be used as an auditorium with stage and seating as well as an open space for music and movement.
Fruit and Veg!
We also have out own greenhouse where we grow various fruits and vegetables. We even pickle our own cucumbers!
